The Chouteau Greenway is one of six North American projects to earn Architecture Magazine’s 67th Annual Progressive Architecture Award.

Each year, its panel of jurors select works within the built environment that “exemplify progress by using design to draw connections between individual users and the communities around them.”

Anchored by Great Rivers Greenway with a framework plan process led by Stoss Landscape Urbanism, our greenway team has designed a networked series of parks and trails that strive to bridge communities across 19 neighborhoods in the hypersegregated city of St. Louis.
