The Design profession has been complicit in the dehumanization of black people. By doing so, the spaces and places we design establish the preconditions for violence and often serve as the justification for militarized escalation.

#DesignAsProtest is a Black-led organizing effort, in solidarity with the #mvmt4blklives to marshall creative design strategies to dismantle the privilege and powers structures that use #architecture and #design as a tool of oppression.
