Tell the Truth, and Always Seek Justice

As I continue to take courses at Harvard, one of my favorite classes has been with Dr. Cornel West, and this week's note inspired by "Tell the truth, and always seek justice," his response to a student's question about racial inequity in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

In this video, I share 4 reflections on this quote and call to action:

1. Before we can tell the truth, we must seek and receive it.

2. Telling the truth requires synthesizing and breaking down complex information to decrease confusion.

3. Analyzing and dispelling lies, propoganda, and misinformation can save lies.

4. Support and amplify efforts that are ensuring justice and equity for those who are most vulnerable and targeted.
